Many people claim to have cures for anxiety but is there one?

Cure is a strong word and actually, we wouldn’t want to find CURES for anxiety, BUT we would want to eliminate or cure inappropriate anxiety.

Anxiety is an extremely necessary mechanism, without anxiety we would be at risk. An anxiety cure would take away a mechanism that protects us from barking dogs, accidents and other risks, a mechanism which allows our bodies to become stronger, faster and more agile within seconds to assist us when faced with danger.

Any cures for anxiety would be futile; it is impossible to remove appropriate anxiety because anxiety is an emotion. But when anxiety becomes inappropriate, something must be done to correct it.
Anxiety disorders can be corrected. The word ‘disorder’ suggests that something is wrong with us, it isn’t, it just happens inappropriately!

The mechanism that causes anxiety becomes disrupted in anxiety disorders, it causes inappropriate, extreme and irrational anxiety. This is caused by an internal ‘anxiety switch’ called the Amygdala, the anxiety control center of the brain, but not by illness… neither physical nor mental… and it certainly doesn’t require cures for anxiety.

So what can you do to reduce anxiety back down to an acceptable level?

The Amygdala is a small organ in the part of the brain responsible for the control of emotions, that regulates the anxiety response. It is when the amygdala becomes ’stuck’ in the ‘anxiety ON’ position that high anxiety and anxiety disorders develop.

Switching the Amygdala back down to an appropriate level of anxiety is simple if you have the knowledge and resources with which to do it effectively. There is a structured program of recovery that must be followed to produce total, natural anxiety elimination.

Anxiety self help – is it possible?

The words anxiety self help conjure up images of yoga, meditation, book reading and note taking but none of these devices offer a true cure. Anxiety self help offers a simple, fast and permanent solution but only if you follow the correct program and only if that program follows a definite structure that adheres to a recognized, proven format.

Before I explain what this anxiety self help structure is that every recovered anxiety sufferer in the world has followed, I will first of all explain what an anxiety disorder is, which will lay the foundations for understanding why there is only one cure for anxiety disorders such as panic attacks, agoraphobia, obsessive compulsive disorder or post traumatic stress disorder.

When anxiety is appropriate, it offers a vital natural defense against threats but when anxiety is inappropriate, it can produce a wide range of disturbing physical and psychological symptoms. The flight or fight response which causes high anxiety, is activated by a small organ in the brain called the amygdala; this acts like an anxiety thermostat, controlling anxiety levels… it’s the ‘anxiety control center’ in humans.

When a real threat is present in our environment, the amygdala responds by preparing the body to either fight or flee from that threat but in anxiety disorders, no real, external threat is present but the amygdala doesn’t separate external threats from the physical sensations you experience around your body and it is these that it finds and responds to as the threat!

Yes, your anxiety disorder is caused because your mind finds the thoughts and sensations caused by itself and scares itself into producing more symptoms – it’s rather like scaring yourself by shouting ‘boo!’

Anxiety self help starts by recognizing this fact, breaking this cycle of fear and ‘forgetting’ the anxious habit you have created within the subconscious mind. Every recovered anxiety sufferer has done exactly this… there is no other anxiety solution… fact.

But how do you do this? Who will teach you this technique? Well, you won’t find it in a bottle of pills or a psychologists office that’s for certain… this process is simple and fast but it must be provided in a supportive, structured and continuous process of anxiety elimination.

Self help for Anxiety is possible with support and guidance which you can find here =>Anxiety Help

Why do we get palpitations and a racing heart during high anxiety?

Why do we interpret it as threatening or dangerous?

What can we do about it?

Anxiety releases adrenaline into the blood stream during the Flight or Fight anxiety response which prepares the body for action when we are confronted by danger, but in anxiety disorders, there is no real danger present.

Adrenalin release makes the heart race and it feels as if it is missing beats, or bumping (palpitations). Palpitations and a racing heart are perfectly natural and will not and cannot harm you in any way, in fact, it is probably strengthening your heart!

You see, the problem is that your body requires fuel during the Flight or Fight response and that fuel is provided to various parts of your body by your circulation. Because the body is preparing for intense action, you need oxygen, water and glucose (amongst other things) to be distributed to the parts of the body that require them, as fast as possible. So, the heart pumps harder to carry out this task.

In anxiety disorders however, you know consciously that there is no real threat in your environment and you know that the only thing that causes you to feel fearful are, in fact, the anxiety symptoms you experience themselves. This creates a vicious cycle of anxiety causing symptoms, symptoms causing anxiety and so on.

Heart symptoms and pains are probably the most disturbing of all the anxiety symptoms because sufferers immediately ‘presume the worst’ when the symptoms start. Most anxiety sufferers say that of all the anxiety symptoms they experience, heart symptoms are the most difficult to ignore or feel comfortable with.

A slow heart beat is also a common anxiety symptom, again it does not mean that your heart will stop beating, it may feel odd and alarming but again do not give it any credibility and it will go away as you address the core high anxiety condition.

So what can you do to stop anxiety symptoms that affect your heart? The most direct way to remove all anxiety symptoms, including heart symptoms, is to remove the high anxiety that causes them directly. There is only one internal mechanism in your body that causes high anxiety and therefore only one solution. The Linden Method is the most highly regarded anxiety recovery program available and will guide you through your recovery with the total support of a team of qualified experts.

An anxiety remedy mustn’t focus on the superficial symptoms, sensations and thoughts that a sufferer experiences during high anxiety, but must focus on the root cause of the anxiety condition.

Psychotherapy and medication are the most commonly used forms of anxiety remedy but both are untargeted and misused in the elimination of anxiety disorders.

A true anxiety remedy must address the core anxiety at its source within the subconscious mind where it is stored as ‘neural pathways’ of learning, in the same way as we store any learnt processes. As with any behaviors we adopt, anxious behavior can be eliminated and with it go the sensations, thoughts and sensation sufferers experience.

But how is this done? To remedy anxiety effectively, it is first advisable to understand the anxiety response in a way that you have probably never heard before. We all know about the ‘flight or fight’ response and how it is responsible for the sensations and thoughts we experience, but do you understand how the response is activated? To know this is to understand how an anxiety remedy can work.

The sensory organs (eyes, ears, nose, mouth and skin) all feed back data to the brain, more specifically, the anxiety control center (the amygdala) so that the brain can carry out ‘risk assessments’ of our environment. Once the risk has been assessed, the brain responds with anxiety IF a risk is present. If there is no risk present, the flight or fight response is not activated.

In anxiety disorders, because anxiety is constantly high and therefore sufferers experience symptoms, the anxiety control center receives signals regarding those symptoms and the brain perceives those symptoms as ‘the risk’… nothing external, like a tiger or sword, the very symptoms it causes.

This is called the ‘anxiety cycle’. A true anxiety remedy MUST address the anxiety cycle directly; it must stop the cycle in its tracks.

Dealing with anxiety and eliminating it completely isn’t as difficult as you might think. Dealing with anxiety effectively in order to completely cure the disorder with permanent results can often be achieved in days if you know what to do.

Some doctors and psychologists say that the most effective way of dealing with anxiety is to take medication and go through lengthy, time consuming, costly and often traumatic therapy… they are wrong.

Let me explain. Effectively dealing with anxiety is simple if you know how, but first it is important to understand what anxiety disorder is in order to effectively cure it. When we perceive a REAL threat in our environment, our subconscious mind responds with the ‘flight or fight’ response that prepares the body to fight or flee from that threat. BUT, when there is NO threat present and we still feel anxious, we have developed an anxiety disorder.

How does this happen? The amygdala asks ‘what if’ questions in order to make an accurate assessment of your environment during the flight or fight response; these questions are designed to provide accurate data in order for the brain to take appropriate actions to protect you. When no external threat is evident, the subconscious mind searches for a threat internally in your body… it is then that your anxiety symptoms are recognized as the threat. Yes, you heard correctly… your anxiety is caused by your symptoms and your symptoms are caused by your anxiety!

Dealing with anxiety effectively is only possible if this cycle of anxiety is broken and deactivated. When this is done, anxiety disorders can be eliminated permanently in days. Every single recovered anxiety disorder sufferer in the world, regardless of whether they had panic disorder, agoraphobia, PTSD or OCD has used this method of recovery… without exception.

Using my method, dealing with anxiety effectively, a permanent cure and a lifetime of freedom from high anxiety is so close, I can assure you of that. By implementing the most simple process of anxiety elimination, you will not be dealing with anxiety any longer… you’ll be erasing it quickly and permanently using the world’s only doctor, psychologist and government recommended, accessible and simple anxiety elimination program… and it’s guaranteed.

Numbness in the face or head, along with neck and shoulder pain is one of the classic anxiety symptoms

All the blood vessels and nerves that supply the face and head originate in the neck and shoulders. They travel up over the top of the head in the tissue encasing the skull.

Many of these nerves and blood vessels originate in the back of the neck, and when the body is under stress, these areas are usually the first to become tense. So tension in the neck can be transferred over the top of the skull into the face, where it is experienced as facial numbness. This can be very disturbing, but it is not usually anything worry about.

The muscles that we use to tip the head back and forth – in a nodding fashion – are situated at the back of the neck at the junction in the soft tissue of the neck and base of the skull. It is usually in these muscles that tension is carried.

Find the point at the back of the head where the skull stops and the soft neck muscles begin. This you can do by running your fingers along the underside of the skull bone. Then, when you have found the muscles that seem tense, use your thumbs to massage firmly around the area. The muscles may be a little tender where the tension is worst, but doing this regularly or when you feel tense will help to release the tension in the head. This in turn will help to release pressure around the blood vessels and nerves that feed your face and head.

It is worth knowing that many headaches that are thought of as migraines, actually originate in the neck imply as a result of tension and can in fact be greatly reduced via massage. A cold compress on the back of the neck is also a good way of reducing head and neck symptoms.

But, to eliminate this and related anxiety symptoms, you need really to get to the amygdala – the anxiety control center of the brain.

The amygdala only really responds to stimulus from the sensory organs – the eyes, ears, nose, mouth and skin. The senses pass back data to amygdala to enable it to assess whether you are faced with danger.

In anxiety disorders, the amygdala malfunctions and is inclined to trigger a reaction even when real danger doesn’t exist. The sufferer then begins to experience a range of unpleasant symptoms, which the amygdala begins to interpret as further risk, thus exacerbating the anxiety response.

Getting rid of these symptoms can be done by addressing the underlying cause using a structured program such as The Linden Method

What are the causes of anxiety attacks and what can you do about them?

First, let me explain the difference between the ‘causes of anxiety attacks’ and the catalysts for anxiety attacks… there is a very definite difference. The catalyst for anxiety attacks are the life experiences that caused the initial high anxiety but the CAUSE of anxiety attacks is the subconscious, anxious habit you have developed that causes all of the thoughts and symptoms you experience.

The amygdala is a small organ in the brain – the anxiety control center that controls the anxiety response. This organ is responsible for activating the ‘flight or fight response’ and the release of adrenalin.

When we are confronted by real danger, the amygdala responds with high anxiety but, in anxiety disorders, the amygdala produces high anxiety even when no REAL threat is present. But why? Surely if there is nothing to be afraid of present, anxiety is inappropriate… yes it would be, except that the amygdala detects a threat, but it’s not outside of your body… it’s inside!

Your amygdala produces high anxiety and high anxiety produces symptoms… it is these symptoms that your amygdala then detects as the threat. Because these physical symptoms and thoughts seem so wrong, we become afraid by them… this is interpreted by the amygdala as threat and the amygdala produces more symptoms. It is this cycle of fear that causes and perpetuates your high anxiety.

Breaking these anxious cycles that are the causes of anxiety attacks is the only way to permanently eliminate your high anxiety and anxiety attacks permanently. Can this be done? Yes, and fast… if you know how.

Anxiety attacks can only be cured by reversing the formation of the high anxiety that causes them; there is no other way of eliminating high anxiety. Since the dawn of time, humans have had to adapt to their environments and their anxiety levels have fallen and risen to be in synch with the threats around them.

Every single anxiety attacks sufferer in human history has used just one process to become anxiety attacks and anxiety disorder free and it’s simple, fast and permanent. The causes of anxiety attacks are irrelevant; the elimination of anxiety attacks is vital.

Would you believe that the causes of anxiety attacks and high anxiety can be erased permanently and quickly… even in hours? Follow our lead and we will walk you through to full anxiety attacks recovery.

Coping with anxiety is not only not an option, but it’s not necessary either! Coping with anxiety suggests that anxiety is an untreatable, incurable condition that requires ‘management’ throughout life… this simply isn’t true. Not only is coping with anxiety a waste of time and life, but when you find out how simple and fast curing anxiety can be, you will realize that coping with anxiety was a nonsense!

Let me first of all explain how anxiety disorder is formed, this will provide you with a sound foundation to build your recovery. Anxiety disorders form when a small organ in the brain, the ‘anxiety control center’ called the amygdala responds with constant anxiety when it is inappropriate to do so. When confronted by real danger, the amygdala activates the anxiety ‘flight or fight’ response that prepares the body to either flee from or fight the threat. But, in anxiety disorders there is no real threat present.

The sensory organs that feed back data about your environment and any potential threats in that environment, don’t find anything externally but in anxiety disorders, data about your anxiety symptoms themselves finds its way back to the amygdala and it decides that these symptoms are the threat… the amygdala responds with high anxiety, which produces more symptoms, the symptoms are perceived as threat and the cycle continues. Coping with anxiety isn’t about managing the symptoms, it is about curing the anxious cycle!

In order for you to become completely anxiety disorder free, this ‘feedback loop’ MUST be broken. Since the dawn of time, man has experienced anxiety disorders and without exception, every single anxiety sufferer since then has followed one process to eliminate their anxiety. There is only one cure for anxiety disorders – doing it will stop you from coping with anxiety and allow you to recover from anxiety – permanently.

Rather than coping with anxiety we have shown over 120,000 people in the last 12 years how to cure their anxiety using this process… you can do it too, it can’t fail because it is the only solution that reverses the formation of your anxiety completely.

Is there an anxiety treatment that can cure anxiety 100%?

Yes, there is!

Anxiety disorder produces debilitating and frightening symptoms, causing the sufferer to feel isolated, which in turn, causes them to retreat, both physically and emotionally, often in search of a suitable anxiety treatment or cure.

While the anxiety sufferer is caught up in the ‘anxiety web’, it is very difficult to identify the correct anxiety treatment for them and they often become confused by the range of anxiety treatment options available to them.

Conventional anxiety treatments can mean moving from one practitioner to the next, testing the affect of various drug treatments and investing time in talking therapies which will probably have little, to no, impact on your anxiety condition, even over months or years.

So, what causes anxiety? Anxiety disorder is caused and perpetuated in the subconscious mind, primarily, in a small almond sized structure in the brain called the Amygdala. The Amygdala is the control center for anxiety and reacts directly to feedback from the sensory organs that fire data to it constantly.
Changes in the behavior of the Amygdala following repeated stimulation during times of stress cause it to become ‘reset’ at a higher than natural level of anxiety. It is this alone that causes and perpetuates anxiety conditions.

An effective anxiety treatment should target the anxiety ‘habit’ in the Amygdala directly and not attempt to treat the superficial symptoms but the very root of the condition. The most successful anxiety treatment should not dwell on blame or try to analyze the ‘catalyst’ for the condition; it should provide the solution which focuses on the ‘here and now’ and every day from now on, by supplying a structured anxiety elimination solution with permanent results… a complete anxiety treatment with curative results.

So, can an anxiety treatment provide a cure? In short, yes, there is an anxiety treatment available that can permanently eliminate anxiety and all its symptoms.

If you entirely remove the inappropriate anxiety, re-setting it back to a normal’ level, inappropriate anxiety will fade away. Of course, each of these anxiety conditions carries their own set of symptoms, but these will also fade away as you eliminate your anxiety. With targeted anxiety treatment methodologies, the true anxiety cure will re-program the subconscious mind to react more appropriately to anxiety provoking stimuli which in turn eliminates the anxiety symptoms experienced.

Gastrointestinal Anxiety Symptoms such as Indigestion, Heart burn, Constipation and Diarrhea are controlled by the amygdala. When faced by a perceived threat, the amygdala prepares the body to fight or flee by releasing adrenalin into the system. The resulting changes in bodily functions affect pretty well all the major systems of the body, including circulation, respiration and digestion.

To lighten the body for flight (or indeed, to improve its agility to fight), it is common for the digestive tract to be evacuated. This can cause a number of gastrointestinal or digestive anxiety symptoms.

When mankind was evolving and he was confronted by a sabre tooth tiger, it may have been entirely appropriate to evacuate the bowels in preparation for running from or fighting that danger. But in the modern world, this response is somewhat inappropriate!

As a response to anxiety, many people experience diarrhea. This is an unpleasant anxiety symptom and can often happen in inappropriate circumstances. Often it results in the person becoming housebound, agoraphobic or fearful of going to places where they don’t have easy access to a toilet.

Indigestion, heart burn and constipation, which are also common anxiety symptoms, occur when fluids are diverted from the stomach lining to be used in the muscles. The digestive system slows down so that energy normally used during digestion is diverted to other parts of the body to prepare for flight or fight. Slowing down the digestive system leads to compacting of food and faeces in the system, which can lead to constipation.

Indigestion and heart burn are caused by an increase in stomach acid that occurs during flight or fight and also from muscle contraction in the chest and stomach cavities, which have the effect of producing reflux from the stomach and digestive tract. At the same time, blood is diverted from the stomach to help fuel the muscles.

These elements combine to slow the digestive system significantly, which can result in indigestion, heart burn, constipation, diarrhoea, stomach cramps, wind and other gastrointestinal symptoms such as IBS (irritable bowel syndrome).

To eliminate these symptoms, the sufferer needs to address the anxiety at its’ core. Drugs and psychotherapy have little affect on anxiety responses as they are not targeted enough to impact the amygdala, which is the anxiety control center of the brain. It is possible, however, to eliminate anxiety symptoms completely.
